If you’re interested in working on the riverside, this could be the place for you. Just next to Federation Square, you can sit here and enjoy the view of the river while drinking a coffee or a beer if you prefer. There’s seating both inside and outside, but rainy days shouldn’t scare you away if you want to sit outside as the tables are covered.

I wouldn’t suggest you come here in the late afternoon because it gets quite busy from people after regular business hours and wanting to enjoy a fresh beer after work. In the morning, however, it’s very quiet and the only noise that could bother your stay is the ones coming from the screams of the rowers exercising on the Yarra river.

You just need to ask for the password to access the private wifi; the connection is reliable and stable, probably conditioned also by the fact that not many people come here to use it. There are both large and small tables, with different kinds of seating, some of them more comfortable for longer stays. And if you come during the morning and you’re hungry, you can easily order some food from the lunch menu, despite being a bit overpriced, for it’s central and touristic position.
